Going Home 03:28
IT ain’t so green it ain’t that grey It ain’t the rain another day It’s all up there in my cranium So safe from what you say My favorite color without you My favorite flavor when I’m blue My favorite place is all I want to be true Hey, Hey, Hey...I’m Going Home Hey, Hey, Hey...I’m Going Home (There) ain’t no tip to any rainbow Ain’t no depth to any lake Ain’t no raindrops on my window Ain’t no beauty I can’t take My favorite color without you My favorite flavor when I’m blue My favorite place is all I want to be true Hey, Hey, Hey...I’m Going Home Hey, Hey, Hey...I’m Going Home I’d play the titanic I’d fly Amilia’s plane Id cross the ocean in a Russian submarine Give me tempest, give me gale, give me what you mean ! I will take the liberty to leave you with the same... My favorite color without you My favorite flavor when I’m blue My favorite place is all I want to be true Hey, Hey, Hey...I’m Going Home Hey, Hey, Hey...I’m Going Home... Without....

What went down as a Mona Lisa? Ornithology... What went down as Maccu Piccu? Ornithology... What went down as elevation? Ornithology... What went down as history? Ornithology... What was down as always? What went down at sea? What went down was half of you and me... What went down was mathematic... Ornithology... What went down to the landfill? Ornithology... What went down as freedom? Ornithology... What went down was so romantic...Ornithology... What went down as gravitas? What went down the hole? What went south was no accident, What went down was a landslide victory... What went down as progress? What went down as rare and pretty ? What went down as sweet success? What went down was futile... What went down as gold... What went down got fossilized... What went down was some ancient centerfold...

Gravity 05:18
Deep and slow we traveled to the moon Lazy were our summer afternoons Sweet and fast we fell for one great thing A love so cool it flowed from mountain springs When it hurts, it hurts us way to soon When it hurts, it hurts both me and you Hey Hey Hey Whoa... I took you out with a knife and fork and spoon We tool our way to prophecy and doom Re-entry was our first class seat to hell Fallen angels sing a falling fairy tale When it hurts, it hurts us way to soon When it burns, it burns both me and you Hey Hey Hey Whoa... I got a bullet in my handshake I got a butcher in my eyeball I got a riddle in my rainbow Who am I? I got a whole lot of feeling I feel a whole lot of loving I’m gonna catch you with a promise and a smile I got an Albert on my pillow I got an Adolf under my bed I’ve got a Montessori naked in my sheets I got a whole lot of needing I need a whole lot of leading I’m gonna leave my mark on you and do my time What the Man am I? I am the void between two chunks of nothing All the space inside a billion years What’s a load of time to do with us, I swear? I done a whole lot of thinking I feel a whole lot of nothing I might of tried my mark on you and hung a right What the kid am I? I had a whole lot of feeling I had a whole lot of loving And SO I hung you with a promise out to dry I had a whole lot of needing It took a whole lot of fading And so I leave my mark on you and say goodbye O eternal bite What the Fuck am I?

Freeway 02:51 video
They say we missed the last star standing They say we missed our curtain call They say I missed the morning siren The giant billboard that said it all Sorry for the inconvenience We’re just trying to change the world Sorry for the inconvenience We’re just trying to turn it all around They say we missed the exit forward Not to mention the exit home I guess we’re stuck until the border Look for the sign that says it all Sorry for the inconvenience We’re just trying to rule the world Sorry for the inconvenience We’re just trying to take it all away Climbing, climbing, climbing upward Jump the river boys and girls Treading sand in heavy desert Cross the ocean walk the earth Sorry for the inconvenience We’re just trying to change the world Sorry for the inconvenience We’re just trying to make it all the way Submit to the king submit to a throne Dine with the Queen go fetch a bone Land on a mine, die for a cause Submit your love hand in your life Sorry for the inconvenience We’re just trying to rule the world Sorry for the inconvenience We’re just trying to take it all away Take it all Away Take it all THE way Freeway... Take it down that freeway Freeway... C’mon....

So'to 03:10
Tall man, you take the short man You take his wisdom, you take his homeland You take it all... Because when all fell out the floor fell in, the traffic lights and the urban din... Into the jungle with a matchbox and a plan... And yes I can... Tall grass, I see the serpent Its light was golden, Its life had fallen - Was I scared? Because when all fell out, the doors collapsed, the ceiling lights, the broken glass... Into the jungle with a matchbox and a grin... Because the full way back is the full way in The fleeting life, the life within Beneath a canopy of milk and ink and fire ... And yes we can Tall man, you take the short man You take his river, you take his mind off everything Now I sing in tongues and I sing the past The End of all the life that’s passed Into the jungle with a matchbox and my plan... Because the man who kills is the one who leaps The one with spots, the one with teeth Beneath a moon of virgin blood and razor eyes... And yes we can... Da da da, Da da da.... Now I sing in tongues and I sing the dead The life of all, this little kid Into the jungle with a matchbox and a plan And yes I did !

Colony 03:22
I’ve got the plane, I’ve got the drugs I’ve got the horses and the guns I’ve got the voices from above You’ve got the land that I love I’ve got the looks, I’ve got the fame I’ve got the books, I’ve got the brains I come from global Alleluia You’ve got the angels, I’ve got their names You have that river full of life You have that city in the sky Beneath your heavens I’d survive You are the peace that I can’t find Forty thousand feet and climbing Eighty thousand miles and shining Ninety billion years and finding You have that river to unwind You held no mirror to this life Beneath your heavens we’d survive You are the Peace I could not find

Never Cry 03:03
I see earthly revolutions And the Weather when it’s moving I see change it sort of happens all the time I see poetry in motion - In this galaxy gyrating I see the gift of gravity and space and time This is why I never cry This is why I never cry I see comet dust a babbling Supernovas socializing All these weapons that set sail to mash and grind And this great machine, the making of our mind This is why I never cry This is why I never cry I hear the rhythm of the reaper With every passing dig so deeper In To the groove of what we leave so far behind No more feeling no more craving no more laughing no more playing No more breathing no more singing no sublime This is why I never cry Is this why you never cry? I see comet dust a babbling Supernovas socializing All these weapons that set sail to mash and grind And this great machine, the making of our mind

It’s so easy... It’s so easy... It’s so easy, it’s so easy, it’s so easy to believe: Paris is for love Paris is for love Paris is for love It’s so sunny And It’s so happy And It’s so friendly And It’s so nice It’s so easy, it’s so easy, it’s so easy to lie It’s so easy, it’s so easy, it’s so easy to deny: Paris is for love Paris is for love Paris is for love Mon amour... Ba pa pa pa pa yeah It’s so easy, it’s so easy, it’s so easy to believe It’s so easy, it’s so easy, it’s so easy to deceive because... Paris is for love Paris is for love Paris is for lovely fools....

about

"The following songs (political, philosophical and confessional meanderings) were written chez moi in the heart of the Green-Mountain State of Vermont over the summers of 2012 and 13, and then recorded and produced by Nick Buxton @ Basement Studios, in Paris, France, between 2013 and 2015, with a stream of extremely talented musicians, including Will Patton of Bakersfield, Vt , the inimitable Lucie Rouits, since-childhood buddy Thierry Ringelstein and the notorious Louis Alfonso of ‘Bad Manners’ fame. Like they say in East Africa, “if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together...”

The album is dedicated to the Ye’kuana people of the Amazon (So'to), who gave me 10 years of friendhsip, trust and enlightenment and dare I add, wisdom. Thanks to everyone I ever met in their company, in that immensely beautiful, primeval jungle, including all the great students and mentors from visiting universities with whom I bonded for Life."
